China Bearing Industry Sees 20% Sales Growth
China bearing industry maintained a rapid and steady development in the first half of this year, with output of 4 billion units, China Industry News reports.
Sales amounted to RMB38.2 billion, an increase of about 20%. Exports and imports rose by 21.5% and 23.7% to US$945 million and US$986 million respectively, resulting in a trade deficit of US$40 million. It is forcast that the trade deficit will rise further in the second half.

Experts anticipated that China bearing industry will slightly speed up in the second half, achieving an output of 8 billion units, sales of RMB76 billion, plus exports of RMB2 billion for the whole year of 2007.
